Did you know, you have been contributing to the tech ecosystem without knowing?
In our previous article, we talked about understanding technology. If you are a newbie into tech click this link https://link.medium.com/Zz6e90epTlb to read our first article.
The next question to answer after understanding technology would be, how can you contribute to the tech ecosystem while in your current profession.
Olamide Morakinyo, the Founder of Kosmima shared his thoughts, "you can ‘technify’ everything, no word like that yet but in this context, you can use it 😃. You can start wherever you are. If you are a Nurse, start a blog, write about things in your profession, about symptoms, prevention, cure of some disease.
You need two things to stand out, willingness to learn and curiosity. You need to have an achievable mindset, pertaining to curiosity, the universe has a way to provide answers to your curiosity".
Patrick Inyangetoh Product Manager at Chiji14xchange in his words said, "you don’t need to leave your current profession, the truth is, you produce contents that some tech guys leverage on and use without your knowledge and make a profit out of it.
The first thing to do is to own a social media account, it's a world on its own. Browse through the different social media platforms and check out the one that suits what you have to offer.
That is the tool you require and that is how you can contribute to the tech space. If you are an expert in treating people with herbs, put it out there, you need to because a closed mouth doesn't get fed. Leverage these tools to contribute to the ecosystem.
There are so many tools with their use cases, starting with the social media platforms".
In summary, leveraging these tools will amplify your work.
